Research Abstract:
Tungsten heavy alloy (W-5wt%Ni-5wt%Fe) showing spheroidal tungsten particles in a Ni-W-Fe matrix. A corresponding fracture surface (inset) shows interface fracture between particle and matrix and featureless tungsten-tungsten separation.
