Brief Bio: |
Our main research interest is focused on novel materials of nanometer dimensions. More specifically, we are interested in the design and synthesis of nanoparticles (metals and semiconductors) that are protected by an organic monolayer. Previous studies have shown that these particles (monolayer-protected clusters, or MPCs) behave as jumbo artificial molecules with attofarad molecular capacitance. |
