Pam Drake is a research chemist at the NIOSH- Spokane Research Lab. She is the principle investigator for the research program "Chemical Hazards in the Workplace". Her current research topics include assessing exposure to welding fumes in underground maintenance shafts, development of portable methods for measuring airborne manganese, and real-time mapping of airborne hazards in the workplace.
